Except from Today's eJournal Entry Titled: Boy, Have I Missed YOU!
If you recall, not too long ago I wrote an entry titled “Who Is Your Vindicator: You or God?” In addition to this entry, I have also shared my experiences on letting God be my Vindicator in many other entries. Whenever we are accused of something we didn’t do or attacked as a result of our obedience to God, our natural instinct is to defend or explain ourselves. We want to set the record straight. However, what I have learned and am still learning is to make a conscious decision to let God vindicate me; for when I do, He sets the record straight far more effective and greater than I ever could—even on a good day! The Apostle Pal exhorts us in Romans 12:19, “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” Beloved, only God knows what to do, how to do it, when to do it and to whom to do it; and only He has the ability to change the hearts of man, not us. God is a God of justice and He will set things right in the right way and at the right time. This leads to my second point, which is to wait on the Lord. In the above scenario, we want God to come to our rescue at once, and if He doesn’t, we then attempt to do it ourselves instead of just waiting on God. Well, waiting on God not only applies to this but to all things. Perhaps He’s given you a vision or told you something that would soon come to pass or made a particular promise to you. Where we fall at is ........... TO CONTINUE READING, CLICK BELOW OR COPY/PASTE BELOW URL INTO YOUR BROWSER http://www.naimawilliams.com/blog/2009/09/17/boy-have-i-missed-you/ |
